Responsible Gambling

Every review on this site ends with some version of the same line: set a budget, treat a win as a bonus rather than a plan, and stop if it stops being fun. This page is the longer version of that.

This site is for adults, 18+, only

If you're under the legal gambling age in your jurisdiction, none of this site is for you — not the reviews, not the bonuses, not the operators we link to.

Signs it's stopped being entertainment

  • Chasing losses with bigger deposits to "win it back"
  • Spending more time or money than you planned to, regularly
  • Borrowing money, or using money meant for bills or essentials, to deposit
  • Feeling anxious, irritable, or preoccupied with gambling when you're not doing it
  • Hiding deposits, losses, or time spent from people close to you

None of these need to be extreme to be worth paying attention to. If more than one sounds familiar, that's the signal to step back, not a reason to feel embarrassed.

Practical limits worth setting before you deposit

  • A deposit limit — decide the maximum you're depositing this week or month, before you start, not while you're playing.
  • A loss limit — decide what you're willing to lose and treat it as gone the moment you deposit it.
  • A time limit — set an alarm. It's easy to lose track of time once you're a few spins in.
  • Never deposit to chase a loss. The moment "just one more deposit to get back to even" enters your head is the moment to log off.

If you want to step back

Most operators offer account limits, cooling-off periods, or self-exclusion tools directly in their account settings or through their support channels. If an operator makes this hard to find or use, that's worth telling us about — it directly affects how we rate them.

Independent resources

We're not a counselling service, and we won't pretend to be. If you want to talk to someone independent of any operator:

  • GambleAware — independent information and support resources.
  • If you're in Papua New Guinea and need local support, your nearest health service or community health worker is a reasonable starting point — we don't have a verified PNG-specific gambling helpline to list here yet, and we'd rather say that plainly than point you somewhere we haven't checked.

A word on this site specifically

We write reviews the way we do — flagging steep wagering requirements, unclear withdrawal rules, and operators we wouldn't recommend — because a genuinely useful review site should help you make a better decision, not just a faster one. Gambling can be fine as entertainment with a limit attached. It stops being that the moment the limit disappears.
